1. Hold your camera very still or use a tripod
  2. Know how to us the manual focus on your camera. If you don't have manual make sure to know how to use the auto focus
  3. Focusing on a persons eyes softens their skin. 
  4. KISS. Keep. It. Simple. Stupid. Use narrow depth of field, make sure the background is uncluttered.
  5. Get up close. Focus on expressive hands, show just a part of the body. 
  6. Alter perspective. use different angles. Get down low, get above, go to the left, go to the right. 
  7. Experiment with lighting.
    -Use side lighting
    -Back Lighting 
    -1 hour before dawn, 1 hour before dusk (golden hour)
    -Dont shoot into the sun
    -Shoot photos in shady area
    -Use Color Lights
    8.   Rules of Composition
    -Rule of Thirds
    -Break the rules
    9.     Take a serious of shots and put them together
   10.    Tell them to look of camera. Off to the side, have them look over              shoulder. Play with eye contact
   11.     Introduce a prop. People are more relaxed with something to hold
   12.    Shoot candidly. Follow subject around.
